Reviews and Ratings
I chose this hotel mainly for its amazing seafront location and comfortable rooms. However, I was slightly disappointed with the dated room decor and the chilly temperature inside the double single room at the top. The views from the big bay window, though, were stunning, offering a perfect spot to relax. The service was exceptional and welcoming, especially after a late-night opera performance. The proximity to the seafront and main attractions made exploring the area easy and convenient. The dining experience, particularly the cooked English breakfast, was hearty and satisfying. The hotel offers good value for money overall.
I was thrilled with our stay at the hotel. The room was clean and bright, perfect for accommodating three adults and one small. The service was exceptional, and we were welcomed with a lovely bottle. The location is superb, close to the seafront, numerous restaurants, and town. The dining experience was excellent, especially the delicious full English breakfast. My only minor gripe was the lack of gluten-free meal options, but overall, it was a fantastic stay.
The guesthouse is centrally located, just steps away from the beach and close to many restaurants. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished, offering a pleasant stay. The hosts are extremely helpful and pleasant, always going the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. The dining experience offers a variety of options to start the day off right. The overall value for money is excellent.
The hotel was clean and comfortable with lovely service but had noisy evening entertainment and windows that didn't close fully. Great location near the seafront and amenities but small rooms for 2 people.
I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was a bit hot during the heatwave, but it had a beautiful sea view from the big bay window with comfy chairs. The room was somewhat shabby but had plenty of light coming through the large windows despite being in the basement. The service was exceptional with helpful staff who even offered umbrellas and blankets. The location was very convenient, just a few minutes from the town center, and close to the Band Stand. The dining experience was fantastic with a diverse menu, and the facilities were great overall.
